If you mount the screws into the bracket facing out (away from the SmallRig logo on the bracket) it will be able to screw into the top mounting holes on the D850 L-bracket.
Does it fit on D850 L bracket SmallRig Cold Shoe Mount
Will this cold shoe fit & work correctly on the smallrig L bracket for the Nikon D850. The Smallrig site lists the 1593 cold shoe on the D850 page
