We have not received any specific information regarding this issue from Sigma, and none of our customers who have purchased this lens have come back to us reporting this issue. If Sigma has modified the construction at any point it is likely that those would be the units for this lens that we would be receiving, and we move through them rather quickly and are typically receiving recently manufactured lenses.
