The lock works like most other standard TSA-compliant locks. There is a small button on the underside of the lock itself which you can press in with a pencil or paperclip - once that's pressed in, set the dials to the combination you want to use, then click the latch on the top of the lock to set the combination. The default combination should be 0-0-0.
