This item is essentially just an arca-swiss plate with a socket for it to hold a cable down, so in theory an adapter plate could be placed under it to convert it to Manfrotto plates.

Can you attach another tripod plate onto this? Area 51 The. Unidentified. Object. Tether Lock Quick Release Plate
I have a couple of different Manfrotto plates, would this allow me to attach them piggy back to this plate?
